Either success or another diversion

F had her consultation this afternoon. After much poking (a safety pin, even) and prodding, the NP went back to discuss the case with the other doctors. When she returned, she brought a different doctor than the one scheduled to the case. This one excitedly entered the room and said that F looks like she has a case of what he specializes in - nerve pain/damage caused by surgical incisions. He told her what the procedure would entail and what relief she might have. Then they gave us some paperwork and sent us out to schedule physical therapy and the pain procedure. tick tick tick More waiting for more appointments . . . I want things to happen now! Maybe I should've sat on the floor and refused to leave?? ;>) They also had suggestions for needed changes in her prescriptions.
